The protagonists of my #fantasynovel are hunting the bounty on a rare plant called the Angel's Tongue, said to take root only in the most corrupt subterranean soils. The plant glows with a constant, multispectral light that other crops can grow from, making it invaluable.

Keeping track of all the little quirks, tendencies, and appearance details of an ensemble cast is trickier than I realized! But on the other hand, I love how it breathes life into them.
