I talk to people quite often about hip hop and what you'll often see is that they DO like rap, just not when black people make it bc when you ask what they listen to, they say kpop (which is HEAVILY hip hop/rnb inspired), localized rap (spanish rap in my case), white rappers like Eminem, etc
