I ended up using a paintbrush tool, also painted the colors but I dunno, I'm struggling with the opacity issues. Maybe I should start with a solid color layer? I do really love how the background came out with the watercolor brush!

Your first OC art (requested, drawn or commissioned) doesn't have to be perfect. Just get it out, a visual ref is going to be SO much easier to work with for other artists when you get your full ref sheet done.
