After watching the State of Play last night, I've come to the conclusion that as graphics have improved, a lot of games look exactly the same nowadays. Very rarely will you see a unique artstyle. It's either Unreal slop or generic anime game #3942. I was more impressed by Marathon of all things!

The day job has honestly drained what joy I had this past year and there's not much sign of that changing. Like I wanna do more content, but when you come home at 6pm after starting work at 7:30am, I just wanna vegetate. If it wasn't going to the gym, I'd be back to my depression era size.

Gosh, I hope next year is better than this one has been. Aside from cons and the like, most of it felt like I was on autopilot. And the autopilot is heading towards a mountain. I want to make the most of the time I have next year rather than languishing.
