Depends on if you’re using the SATA ports built into your mobo or a discrete HBA controller card. If built in mobo ports then yes definitely. For discrete, as long as it’s turned on in BIOS, you don’t need to do anything other than pass the PCIe card through.

Install TrueNAS in a VM. Pass through PCI RAID card. Donezo.

Got it! Makes sense. I do wish Joplin had a browser-based option, but I self-host my own sync server and keep my enc keys in bitwarden, so I always have access to it

Switched to Organizr after Dashy slowed to a crawl for me. Pretty happy with it so far, a little confusing to get setup, but that's just because it has many ways of doing things.

What drew you away from Joplin and towards this? I've been using Joplin for years and love it, couldn't think of anything that would make me switch.
