Yes, I went gorilla trekking in Rwanda for the day, was incredible. Highly recommend, you need to go prepared though. Gloves, thick clothing, hire a porter. Happy to answer any questions!

I asked about recommendations for restaurants in Mexico City to plan a birthday dinner and someone asked me if for a couple or group of friends.

LOL neither — option C! For me to sit at a table, order fancy food, feast, and celebrate me, with me, for me. #solotravel

- I take a tour when I feel unsafe (nighttime, cocktail tour, red light district)
- I don’t wear anything of value
- I post about a hotel after I leave

My rules for solo travel:

- I only sleep in rooms with a deadbolt between me & the rest of the world at night
- I research (and if possible, arrange) airport transportation before I arrive at a destination
- I share my location with someone who expects to hear from me daily
