This week’s guest host was Ed Currie, the inventor of the Carolina Reaper and the human embodiment of @uwebollocks.bsky.social’s hot sauce tweet

Would've been a funny bit in Resident Evil: Requiem to give old man Leon extremely thinning hair but then keep the same hairstyle

Yeah and the inventory can be a drag sometimes, but that's the first thing I leveled up

I've actually not disliked any of the Bloober games I played (I thought Layers of Fear games were good and Blair Witch was passable) in the past but they really learned a lot from the Silent Hill 2 remake and I'm pretty excited to see what they do from here

I think this is my favorite game to come out this year. It's Silent Hill 2 meets Dead Space. Extremely my shit.

The historic theater in my town showed DOUBLE INDEMNITY tonight for $5, great way to spend a Monday evening

D’Angelo’s catalog is filled with classic songs but one of my favorites that doesn’t get talked about much is his scorching cover of Prince’s “She’s Always in My Hair” for the SCREAM 2 soundtrack; a choice needle drop for the opening scene.

Probably never would have watched KPop Demon Hunters otherwise but I really liked it so I'm glad I had an excuse to watch it

Juxtaposing watching Fight Club this weekend, on Patreon I just released the KPOP Demon Hunters episode with @uwebollocks.bsky.social of the Soundtracker Podcast. God help us if there's ever a skibbidy toilet musical

Kaleb Horton was on Soundtracker twice and I think maybe the hardest I ever laughed was doing Walk Hard with him and Alan. On top of being incredibly naturally funny, he was just the nicest guy. I'm really sad he's gone.

I wondered why this started getting attention recently lol

Recorded an episode of Soundtracker with @uwebollocks.bsky.social about Into the Woods. Good Musical, average movie, but the Chris Pine number is fantastic

For the last 16 years Lynn slept on my chest almost every night while I watched TV or played video games. Today he fell asleep for the last time right there on my chest. I loved this cat so much and I'm going to miss him terribly.

Alright yes I’m plugging my most recent podcast appearance—I got invited back on Soundtracker not because I was so good at talking about “Disorderlies” last year but because I am their free lawyer. Anyway here’s 90 minutes on the classic dude movie CADDYSHACK!

Good episode, but Eric says he’s never known someone who caddied, and I’m right here. Having been a slob country club caddy for much of the 1990s, Caddyshack holds up for me because it parallels the “Veep was a documentary” discourse. Much of the film is stuff that really happens at these places.

Did you ever try to kill a gopher?

I would say there's a very good chance you crossed paths at some point if that's the case hahaha

I love that line! It's always so hard to cover comedies because I don't want to make it just a bunch of repeating lines the whole time, but that one was one I actually had in my notes. I passed it over as we went on and it was getting long. Thank you for listening!!!

I've really managed to lessen them by finding homes for them, but a few new ones showed up this last year

Yeah I'm still working on it. The surgery isn't for 2 weeks so I sort of gave it a break until it gets a little closer. I appreciate it!
