Goddess I hate it when people stare at me in public. Yeah man, I look like this, trust me I'm not any happier about it than you are.

Side note, but Jemma is a British trans lesbian lefty author who mostly moans about politics and writing.

If you are following me and not her I can't imagine why.

Thank you for providing a silver lining to our dickhead media (not the pokemon stuff that rules)

BRB setting up The Uncritical Drinker in which I get absolutely wrecked and then watch a trashy movie and am convinced it is the greatest thing ever because that's how Drunk Goose works.

Taking a deep breath and blocking rather than arguing with the person who writes for The Guardian.

I'm getting better, slowly.

I don't think I do, his physicality isn't really something that the video games do anything with that I remember? Which is interesting now I think about it because they do with Bowser, Luigi and Wario.

FWIW Mario will also always be Bob Hoskins to me.

HEY ANSWER THIS: (a little informal thing before research I’m starting this summer)

Do you consider Mario (like, that Mario) to be a “fat video game character”? Why/why not?

feel free to RT etc

It is extremely clear that these people don't understand the technology they are throwing billions at but they are terrified that if they don't get there first everyone else will eat their lunch, when the reality is that those who take a more cautious approach are going to be the only ones standing.

Can't wait for someone to take out a massive loan on the basis that ChatGPT told them that's how much something would cost only for it to turn out that is completely untrue and then sue the bank and ChatGPT for providing inaccurate financial advice.

And that's a best case scenario!

They want you to be able to load up ChatGPT, talk to it about what a dream holiday would look like, and then click a button and take out a loan to finance what you just talked about.

So they want to hook those creditworthiness reviews right into ChatGPT.

Listening to a talk about how AI is going to be integrated into the financial system to help people get loans right through the apps and how AI can speed up the approvals process and I'm really excited to see how stupid the next financial crisis can be.

Suddenly the Labour obsession with trans people makes sense: they want to use us to get to their beloved ID cards.

I am my trauma, my scars, and the strength I found to keep going anyway. I refuse to mourn what was, and am determined to find more reasons to celebrate what is and can be.

Very funny that I don't think I've seen a single feature added to bluesky since I joined be positively received.

This is the most polite rent-lowering gunshot I've ever seen. I usually just make my next post an actionable threat of violence or something loudly anti-cis/anti-men

Yeah tbh he just strikes me as having the level of entitlement and privilege where he's never had to be particularly bright outside his one area of specialty (justifying abusive tactics for the police) and he confuses his expertise in that area as genius in all areas.

I've known many men like him.

It's interesting to see that there's still people out there who think Starmer makes effective, short-term tactical choices when as far as I've been able to tell he's been slamming into every rake for the duration of his entire tenure even when people are screaming at him to stop.

Pros: The roof is being fixed so my home won't rot away that's probably good.

Cons: 10 weeks of PERPETUAL FUCKING BANGING and they keep stomping around on my ceiling and knocking the lights out of the fixtures. 😭

I'm incredibly tired of being asked to pretend that the government gives a fuck about consultations or petitions.

My partner was like 'come on that can't be a real article' so I looked her up and just check out this woman's bylines, every one is a work of art: inews.co.uk/author/rhian...
