Yeah. Ugh

I do have noise canceling headphones that I don’t hate. But the flyovers are too fast to have time to grab them and I would hate them if I wore them all the time

It sure seems like a lot of flights for training. I can’t find anything concrete about why it’s happening so much more frequently

That was the third damned loud military helicopter over my house today. I’m getting really really sick of this. They’re flying so low that the low frequency sounds from the blades trigger my sound-induced motion sickness

I wish I remembered when they are in season here. But all the berries were $$ so I decided to buy the fancy sounding ones (I’ve switched to mostly frozen due to prices, but it’s not the same)

No aldi here. Blackberries will go down that far in season, but it’s not currently that time of year (and I forget when that is….)

Nice! I hope they’re abundant and tasty!

Omg, I miss good strawberries. I’ve given up buying them here. Haven’t had any even halfway good ones in a very long time

Some blackberries in a ricotta cheese tub with some leftover ricotta and honey

Took a gamble on the fancy blackberries today for $5 and I wish I’d gotten two packages. They’re so so good. But it’s so hard to know! (And I really don’t care for the not great blackberries). My waffle tomorrow morning are going to be so good with the rest of these

I aspire to this level of comfiness (but I’ll never achieve it)

Apparently we shared some candy tastes. I remember in Belfast happening to pick a bag of gummy candies out of a big display that turned out to be one of his favorites (which worked out for sharing since I tend to want just a couple gummy candies, not an entire bag)

World market here has the full sized ones regularly. But I like the ratios of the fun sized ones more (and I don’t want to eat a giant bar all at once)

Nice!

I do sometimes order them online, but I really like the smaller bars specifically, and whoever was selling those on Amazon stopped when the tariffs hit. (I would order some annually as a birthday present to myself!)

I have not! That sounds delicious. Will have to look for them to try next time I’m in Canada

25% of my suitcase is candy 😂 I was able to order these online for a while, but stupid tariffs made them harder to find (and Arizona weather means the window for shipping chocolate is very short anyway)

An open bag of coffee crisp minis (chocolate covered coffee wafer candy) sitting on top of my laptop bag at the airport

An open bag of coffee crisp minis (chocolate covered coffee wafer candy) sitting on top of my laptop bag at the airport

At the airport, ready to head home with important cargo. I still don’t understand why they don’t sell coffee crisp in the US. I bought a bag for snacking and 6 packs of individually wrapped fun sized bars (they sadly do go stale or I’d have bought more 😂)

I forgot how bad the signage is at the Toronto airport. I travel a lot through a lot of airports and train stations, and I’ve had to ask people for help twice now to be sure I was headed the right way

Yeah. Once you’re in the ecosystem, it would be a huge pain to twitch. So they would have to fall much further to motivate me

That’s annoying. I avoid is updates for as long as possible…(until there’s a security reason to update). The whole ecosystem has been degrading slowly for a while. But still better than the alternative for me (I need Unix based computer OS, so Mac is the easiest hybrid option for that)

Yeah. The worst areas are going to be places where they done even have a/c. But then the increased need for a/c is pushing more emissions, etc etc. I don’t see how this can be made better at this point

5 days ago 1 0 0 0

Yeah. Just got my electric bill here and it was $50 more than usual for this time of year. Because I had to start using my a/c in late February. We are so cooked

I use Apple products to avoid connectivity issues. But they are sometimes infuriating. My new AirPods have a “tap once to unmute” function that I can’t disable (best I could do is two taps). Which I found out because the new AirPods don’t fit as well as the old ones so I have to adjust them

We do but those dates are advertised well in advance and our next one is in July!
