Dan, congrats on this accomplishment. As a former sportswriter in the U.S. I was impressed with all of the stories you were able to find and I learned a lot about some of the lesser known and charming spots.

Assuming he doesn't duck the Wolves again!

Oh, I can relate. I'm not old enough for Willis Reed, but I am old enough for Kirk Gibson.

I hope you are very wrong.

"The Lakers can't stop a nosebleed." Gotta love Chuck.

Good work. And I'm hoping I can get the victory in your pool over the line this weekend.

I'm officially out on court storming and have been for a long time. When I covered Cincinnati, they had an older guy who often sat on the bench with the team at road games. Bearcats lose at Charlotte and older guy gets trampled and breaks collar bone. Maybe this makes me old.

@hltco.bsky.social @flavbateman.bsky.social I think it would be interesting to have this Daniel Storey guy on your joint pod as he's going to every ground this year. Would love to hear his logistics, his favorite or most surprising spots, etc. Might be a really cool guest.

The good news (if there is such a thing) is that the past eight days will make it much easier for the Kwesi to let Darnold walk. I have been concerned that if he won a couple of playoff games that the team would feel forced re-sign him. They can use the dollars elsewhere.

This was really nicely done.

I was at the Purdue game and thought he did a lot of nice things that night as well.

Correct. It is much more of a novelty for me than it was back in the day. I don't love it to the level I love Skyline from my Cincinnati days, but I'm not going to pass it up when in the Southeast.

It has certainly not kept up with the growth of the area. That said, the rocking chairs and Bojangles provide a couple of redeeming qualities.

How could I not be? I won the Funk! But seriously, no chance.

I’m glad you were able to do something for you on a hard day. Hang in there.

Feels like there's a 1000 percent chance of Big Karl finding kids to throw t-shirts to. And I love him for it.

I do it with some regularity. It is a sneaky way to get yourself a little more time with a book or two.

Can you put the Kindle/tablet on airplane mode so it won't vanish when it hits the expiration date? Only downside is that it won't sync between devices.

Happy birthday Ricky!

I thought they were due to get going. But I didn’t expect 5 in the first half!

1 year ago 1 0 0 0

I'm afraid that worry is justified. But they are due to actually get something going. That said, it's gonna get ugly if they lose or even draw.

Now if we can just get Spurs to get some shit done tomorrow....

Never a doubt!

Looks like a solid start for your Bucks.
