Of all the special treatments they've done over the years I think that these mystic archive variants are by far my favorite.

The newest one is also inexcusably bad on embeds. Doing something as simple as adjusting the volume on a YT embed with the new UI is an exercise in pure frustration.

We’re about to pay Iran $6 billion to re-open the thing that was open before the war.

Art of the deal, baby.

I've always hated when companies needlessly rework something that people like, is intuitive to use, and works well. It always feels like someone wanted to have a highlight to put on their resume, rather than something that was needed or thoughtfully executed.

I have a Ranger. It just turned 20 this year. It has manual locks, windows, and minimal in cab features that all still work. This is basically the perfect answer to a modern version of what I'm looking for and will continue to watch.

OpenAI funding fears hit memory chip prices Spending cuts at OpenAI have hit memory chip prices as fears grow about the tech company’s ability to fund its expansion.

Good news! OpenAI is canceling so many large purchase orders and datacenter expansions that the global price of RAM is dropping.

Really love the style of this work. What programs do you typically use to create your art?

New consumer trust report came out. 78% of Gen Z can identify AI generated images and will scroll past them.

Been running ads for an apparel brand targeting 18 to 25 year olds. Our CTR dropped 40% after we switched to AI generated lifestyle shots.

The images looked fine to me. Models wearing the clothes, decent lighting, no obvious errors. But apparently Gen Z can tell.

Went back to real product photos and performance recovered. Not fully but better than the AI stuff.

The report mentioned things like lighting inconsistencies and unnatural shadows. Stuff that's not obvious unless you're looking for it.

AI images probably work for some audiences but not others. Older demographics might not notice or care as much.

Edit: for graphics and layouts i use X-Design since you control the inputs. But for photography targeting younger audiences, real still wins.

Oh darn. Who could've possibly predicted that outcome except for all the people who've been clowning on this BS for years!!?

Don't forget the part where the repackaged google search is also bad or outright wrong.

Don't forget the part where the lazy stupidity that will inevitably end up collapsing/failing will be subsidized by regular, tax paying citizens.

For me I think it'd be if there's a prop or piece that's accurate but is bulky, clunky, and hard to wear should be reevaluated or eliminated from the costume. Watching cosplayers stiffly moving around because of these pieces of a costume just adds awkward energy to the overall performance.

There's a Target a very short walk away from where I live and I decided to get out for a walk and stopped by. The shopping there is so bad dude...Anything that's locked up in one of those cases becomes a never buy item. I'm not waiting for someone to open it and wont pay a premium price for it.

Over invested in AI that no one asked for and sank their gaming brand at the same time. Round of applause (again) for MS for continuing to make smart, user friendly decisions 🙄 /s

I've been saying it for years that everyone who thinks these stupid AI tools are fun are constantly at risk of violating confidentiality and NDAs. Every time these things are allowed to run on top confidential emails, artwork, videos, etc... they're being fed into an external company's pipeline.
