I doubt he’ll ever achieve that level of insight.

That must be the D.H. Lawrence section.

My (now defunct) local paper once had a front page headline that said:

“MISSING MAN FOUND AT HOME”.

Something designed by Hipgnosis.

It is a malt, just not a single malt. My favourites tend to be Speyside malts. Also very partial to the original Jura.

Technology isn’t always best. Remember, you can get many a good tuna from an old griddle.

‘I feel like I’m losing her’: the families torn apart by older relatives going far right It starts with a ‘back in my day’ nostalgic meme – then suddenly your elders are sharing AI-generated ‘boomerslop’ and repeating conspiracy theories …

I’m a Boomer, but I have not become more right wing as I’ve aged. It’s worrying that people can possibly forget the principles they stood for. I can only assume they weren’t principles but merely following family voting traditions.

Literally just listened to that song. It’s so beautiful and so complex at the same time.

I also saw her at a festival in about 2013. She had no connection with the audience at all. I knew the festival organisers, one of whom became a friend. He said she was an absolute diva behind the scenes.

I don’t know her. Weirdest one I saw was a ventriloquist opening for Steve Hackett.

It was just her and a piano. Her songs were pretty mediocre back then.

Support act at Preston was Joan Armatrading. I ended up in the bar three songs into her set.
