#GGJ26 jammers! I am preparing a presentation about Git, centered around conflicts and how to avoid or solve them, with a focus on game jams.
Did you have significant Git conflict during GGJ? I would love to hear what happened! A few details over posts are ok. Thanks a lot!! ππ»ββοΈ

Oh! Would you consider adding in some thoughts on Scene Blocks? It exists largely because it was so sad seeing a teammate lose all their work to a git misunderstanding in a previous GGJ :(

I worked on this game about frogs who fish, vibe, and fall over. Inspired by Webfishing, REPO, and maybe emotional damage.
It's called Swamp Fellas. Would love to hear your ideas as to what to add!
Nasra Ahmed, a 23-year-old US citizen, was arrested and detained by ICE. She was held for TWO DAYS.
ICE agents handcuffed her, called her a racial slur, and she was knocked to the ground so hard she got a concussion.
This cannot continue happening. ICE needs to leave.
Lots of interest in "Todo" for Unity, so here it is! Download free, enjoy and perhaps check out the other tools as well ;)

- Easy in-Unity list
- Drag-drop references (GO or asset)
- Very satisfying "done" column :P
Hope it helps!
What. I love this. Made a "todo", with drag-droppable references and some nice "Done" visuals. So satisfying and quick. Huh. Should I clean it up and share? Does @ciro.continis.io already cover this with something better? :D
Built a feature to open and edit multiple prefabs and scenes at once. Makes Unity feel like a modern, efficient editor! Looking for input on polish-level features and use cases. Thoughts, ideas, wants?
@cirocontns.bsky.social (also, as I don't really know how this works here) ...
Very happy you like it. One part of my legacy π
Managed to push/bribe/beg and get it done :D
... even better, it'll also work with Edit Modes, eg you'll get "Spline" actions in "Spline" mode :D
It's been SO helpful to have Taival working with SceneBlocks from literally day one. Amazing game and super-complex Scene files π
to test Scene Blocks on. And now this fantastic video from them, showing the workflow!

Scene Blocks is essentially done! I'd love a couple more early testers though - DM, share it around? Thanks!

Oops I made another tool for Unity :D
... a vertex color editor, with custom color picker for speedy use and in-game compatibility. So much fun to use already :D

Launching soon, "one file per object" for Unity scenes. Special thanks to a soon-to-be-announced studio for extreme testing!

Thanks! It's really not glamorous at all, but so helpful.
Oh gosh. IT REALLY WORKS. No more #unity3d scene merge conflicts. Night-day change for studios, and individuals who like really clean git commits.
Sorry, terrible first video, too excited not to share immediately:

Something I always wanted to get done while at @unitygames ... built in an evening! :) A little hacky, but honestly it just works and really helps.
Posted for free on our Discord (www.overdrivetoolset.com), join in and try it out! :)
πFolder icons!
πComponent icons!
Did I share this one yet? After a few days using, can't work without it. Should have a demo build out soon on the Discord, if you'd like to try it out!

Functionality is 90% done, visuals next. A Blender-style move tool for Unity, with a few tweaks to better match Unity use. This was fun to make, and will be just one small part of the toolset! >> www.overdrivetoolset.com
Love these sketches and finals.
Please tell me EVERYTHING you would want in the best ever level design tool. Since I'm building that now. :D Honestly I'd love any sort of big 'ol rambly document or just a few choice bits.
Starting out simple! New grid texture ... and fancy shader, to auto-display a subtle color and unique texture based on size of faces. Really want this new PB (PBJ, as I've named it) to be simple, awesome, helpful. #leveldesign #pbj
With or without the size text?
Hi folks! Moving over here, excited to start building a new community.
If #unity3d, #leveldesign, or #3dmodeling is your jam, maybe say hi! I've done a lot of work in those areas, and planning some new things now. More at: overdrivetoolset.com
See you around!
