I bought this exact pot. I wish it were just a little bigger, but it holds more than plenty to feed the family.
It's always awkward when this track starts blaring at a stoplight when the windows are rolled down.
Loved that show. It used a Nine Inch Nails song to great effect in the pilot episode.
Still just as horrific as the first time I read it in 1991.
I watched this movie last year, and it immediately went on my list named "That was very well-made, but I'm never watching it again."
She's the second-best part of the film, after the incredible Axe Gang fight.
It's so nice to see hand-drawn animation.
I need there to be a new variety of even sharper, Vermont sharp cheddar. The Hattori Hanzo of sharp cheddar. So I can pair it with slices of cheap, greasy pepperoni.
When I turned 13, my parents gave me a box with every King book in print at the time, because I'd already read the newly revised version of The Stand and had asked for more.
Best damned gift ever.
Rao's is better than a lot of sauces out there, but it's also more expensive. My guess is that no one is buying it because everything costs so much more now, and they are buying cheaper to save.
Aside from that, I'm not buying glass jars that have been stacked in a pile.
It's been quite some time since I've encountered a Godzooky reference.
Holy. Shit.
Weird Al is among the very few people I would trust with the ability to see into the future. Dolly Parton and Levar Burton are also in that group.
I'd need about a dozen skeets to properly describe the crush I had on Shawnee Smith as a kid after seeing this when it first hit HBO.
You could take almost any frame from the film and blow it up into a stunning poster you'd happily hang on your wall.
I had really hoped to be able to drive my family from Omaha to Massachusetts this summer to visit my brother, but I have little faith that gas prices will be anywhere near reasonable by then for a trip like that.
Thank you, I might look into this. Been thinking a lot about family history lately.
Leguizamo has long been on my list of "people who only make a project better." Awesome to hear he's a part of this.
No, more mute ants!
I hate the chatty ones.
It's just so, so stupid here right now.
I honestly have no clue. He died when my mother was only 10, and she passed when I was just 17, so there are a lot of things about him that are a complete mystery to me.
My mom's father was a merchant marine, and I believe a mechanic (might've just been a hobby).
My dad's father was a steeplejack after serving as a combat medic in Europe during WW2. He earned 3 purple hearts during the war, but 1 bad fall as a steeplejack is what gave him chronic pain for life.
I had this CD stolen from my house during parties 2 or 3 times.
"Damned enchiladas."
I love this movie for the uptight sidekick and his gradual Arc towards "We need big fucking guns."
You know, there are a lot of very legitimate and completely understandable reasons for much of the world to hate us, but I just don't see "having a hockey player who scored the winning goal after having his teeth shattered earlier in the game" to be high on that particular list.
