I think it is OK sometimes to let something be lightning in a bottle, and then let it rest. And I say that as someone who absolutely loves that series, and found most of my online community through it, either directly (i.e. @loadingreadyrun.com ) or indirectly (i.e. @desertbus.org ).

To me, the solution has been making the internet small again. Only subscribing to a few youtube channels, and only checking my sub feed. Being careful with who I follow on bsky. Trimming down my subreddits. And spending more time in small, friend group focused discords. There's too much noise.
