A new teaser for Coyote Vs. Acme dropped today with the full trailer finally arriving tomorrow. Man, the hype I have for this is for the roof and I still love the marketing is going all in on the "the film they don't want you to see" angle. I cannot wait to see this!
Honestly, I liked the slice of life vibes more from season 1 compared to the battle oriented stuff. It might be because I gravitate towards smaller stories than bigger ones, but I also just like the frogs more in the show than the humans. It’s why I’m hyped for the new graphic novel.
When it comes to DreamWorks films that I really think deserve more love, one of my biggest examples is still Rise of the Guardians. I still remember falling in love with it when I first saw it due to its imagination and visuals. Definitely a fun one.
And yet, I still have no idea what the plot of the film is. I know the quote is "The Lord works in mysterious ways"......is that just a metaphor for the plot being a mystery?!

It's hard to make any kind of story, let alone an animated one, whether it be a film or a show. The least anyone can do is show respect to the people who make them.
The last scene with two on the roof is so mellow and sweet and I really liked the music in it, notably. Reminded me of Trent and Atticus's score for Soul.

Walt Disney Animation Studios has revealed a new logo for Hexed, and has revealed that both Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones will voice the main characters in the film. Definitely a surprise considering they initally revealed this as a mother/son story, but I'm intriguied.
Netflix has announced a new take on Willy Wonka called Charlie Vs. The Chocolate Factory in which Wonka has been released from prison after turning a child into a blueberry. I'll give it credit that it's not retelling the original story, but man. This sure is weird.

A new still for the new Peanuts film, Snoopy Unleased, has been revealed and will have a work in progress screeening at Annecy before its release on Apple TV. I'm glad to hear this is still happening knowing it's from Steve Martino who directed The Peanuts Movie at Blue Sky!
Sony Pictures Animation has shared some new stills from Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse while also revealing the film will be made in 1:43:1 format. Man, the film is being made in the format and the stills looking so pretty. Man, I can't wait.
StudioCanal has revealed at CinemaCon that in addition to a fourth film, Paddington is getting a brand new animated film. I adore these films so much and I am very curious to see what an animated version of this would be like. Either way, cannot wait!
I'm really glad so many creatives in Hollywood are standing up to this merger of Warner Bros and Paramount because it genuinely is something that will be damaging to creatives and jobs. I hope this merger crashes because it is terrifying and not something that should happen.

Man, I really feel even worse for The Legend of Aang team than before with the film unfairly being pulled from theaters for Paramount+ (still a terrible decision) and now it's gotten leaked. I feel terrible. Also, please do not share any leaks for the crew's sake. It's not cool.

Disney's decision to cancel Pixar's Be Fri because they think they couldn't sell a "girl power film" makes absolutely no sense to me knowing they've released plenty of films with female heroes. If anything, it's just cowardly. I feel so bad for Kristen Lester and the Pixar team.

A film adaptation of Thisby Thestoop is in development at Warner Bros Animation with writers Steve Desmond and Michael Sherman writing it. It's about a young gamekeeper of a creature‑filled dungeon embarking on an adventure. Sounds like it could be fun!
