None of it is actually BlueSkys fault which I wanna make clear because on its own it's a fine app, but one of the biggest things I like about Twitter is how chaotic it feels whenever something massive happens (eg: Trump taking shots) and for better or for worse you don't get that type of chaos here

This is true but it *is* significantly easier to say "just start a niche community" than it is to actually make one when BlueSky comparatively has less users than Twitter. When the userbase is (being generous) a hundredth of Twitters, there just isn't gonna be as many people to make things with.
