Ugh. Plastic grass is a scourge on the planet
Oh no! That’s a pain. Do you think it’s a software or hardware issue?
Yup we can see the kettle spikes through the day whenever we have cuppas
If tomorrow looks as good for you as it does for us, you’ll have a record breaking day
Mine is a daily ritual
🥳🥳🥳🥳
Solar panels should come with a health warning.
It’s addictive constantly looking at the app and at the sky when the sun comes and goes. 😅 I must check ours about 1638471527482 times a day since they were installed in January.
Enjoy!
A few hours early. Like you I’d rather sit and watch the world go by than be stressing before getting on a flight
Me neither! I get the sense they’re focussing on the problem at hand and whoever comes next will be the ones who have to sort out the problem.
I honestly hope that Gateshead don’t reinstate the road.
Turn it into a park and green space. Don’t just give it back to cars
Oh amazing!
I’ve never heard of the Merlin app. Will have to go check it out.
I’ve been noticing every year since we moved into our house I’ve tried to do something insect friendly to the garden. Every spring the garden is full of birds foraging, or collecting twigs or other stuff for their nests
Ugh. I would be reporting that to Uber. But I bet they don’t do anything.
We had a guy in Lisbon driving on his phone using his knees to steer. We reported it to Uber and they basically shrugged and said ‘you didn’t die or crash, so no issue’
Oh wow! What a way to destroy a career
A jar of mango chutney. It has nigella (onion) seeds and red chilli visible
A large jar of soy miso. It has a label which has a date of making of the 15/04/26.
It’s been a week of being a good househusband.
Managed to get super cheap mangos from Grainger Market so made four jars of mango chutney.
Also made a batch of miso which I now need to leave for a year to mature.
Congratulations!!!
Looks epic! Well done.
You’ll definitely enjoy the extra insulation and space it creates
A photograph of a tree. There is a tiny hole in the tree which a nuthatch bird has just flown out of
Out waking the dog today, I spoke to a guy who was out doing nature photography.
We stood talking for a while and he pointed out a Nuthatch flying into this hole in a tree and feeding his wife.
It was absolutely magical to see and something the majority of people would probably miss!
He’s now feeling slightly sluggish
😢
Managed to get out and cut the lawn today.
I’ve left three huge areas long this year. They were seeded with wild flowers which germinated in the autumn and are slowly growing.
We’ve also planted three new fruit trees, a new beech hedge and a load of perennials.
I’m hoping the insects are happy!
I was on the pavement sadly
🙄 she and her family would be devastated. Yet her fault entirely
Ugh. Whyyyy
How on earth do people not consider driving dangerous!
Just seen a woman driving an X5 BMW, phone tucked under her ear. Putting on lip gloss.
🤦♂️
You’re driving a lethal weapon that needs absolute concentration.
Your phone call and lippy can wait. Someone’s safety can’t
Agree entirely.
Banning U16 is focussing on a symptom not the cause. Whilst also ignoring the harm social media is doing to adults and society as a whole.
We should regulate social media properly to protect everyone
Why are cities throwing away millions in possible funding for public transit by not charging businesses for parking spaces?
£90 million in ten years for a city the size of Nottingham (300k) www.transportnottingham.com/article/work...
And at £592 that's still cheaper than an annual bus pass ≥£779!
I miss the joy of someone ripping a mixtape for you of music you’d never heard of but that you knew had been created with love
I was lept on by the dog around that time as she climbed into bed with us.
So I feel your pain
Mmmm frothy gammon. My favourite!
