ICE has violated almost 100 court orders.
Let me say that another way. 100 times ICE was caught brazenly ignoring the law. 100 times a court told them to immediately stop. And 100 times they ignored the order.
That's an out-of-control agency that shouldn't get another dime.

While many of the 2 per day falling to Earth burn up on re-entry, leaving heavy metals and plastics in the atmosphere, sometimes they leave debris on the ground. Starlink aims to launch a million more, raising risks of low orbit collisions. 🧪

www.washingtonpost.com/health/2026/... Our Outlaw Prez said he was going to let RFK Jr. to “go wild” as HHS Secretary, and unlike his confirmation promises, the Kennedy scion has taken Trump’s imprimatur seriously.

Wind farms and solar looking at the world right now and saying “we told you so”.
Maybe it's just me but I don't think Jeffrey Epstein's clients should be the ones to decide if Jeffrey Epstein's clients should be prosecuted.
Reading the FT front page story about a Chinese company introducing a battery with a 1500 km range & six minute recharging time & about how two Chinese companies own more than half of the global EV battery market & I am struck by the different realities the US and China occupy. We’ve lost the plot.
Don’t forget the Indian Wars (1788-1890).

“Overreaching” is something that Hegseth knows plenty about.
Pennsylvania's appellate court confirmed that access to abortion is a fundamental right under the Pennsylvania Constitution.
This decision is a win for all Pennsylvanians.

Democrats should get louder in championing clean energy’s affordability and resilience from global shocks, according to some of the party’s leading voices on the climate.
From our friends at @theguardian.com:
Maybe all the contractors and workers he stiffed over the years should be first in line.
How many imma-gonna-destroy-civilization spews from our Outlaw Prez will it take before cowardly Republicans act like the patriots they so often brag about being and join Democrats and Independents to boot this madman out of the White House?

The AI boom comes at a cost 😮💨
Behind the AI hype is a surge in energy use, data centre expansion and growing threats to democracy. Can it still be called progress if it deepens environmental harm, surveillance, and the grip of Big Tech and autocrats on power?

This is an informative but depressing discussion since it time-frames collapse not precisely but nonetheless inevitably.
America’s wealthiest men are spending more money than ever before, in a race against each other that’s leaving the rest of us in the dust.
By 2030, data centers will consume as much energy as 41 million US homes.
And yet he’s betrayed all those who chose him except for the billionaires and other overly wealthy elite whom he protects for a “slice,” just like a Mafia don.

This is a horrific story of abuse of animals that are beloved, gentle, and incapable if defending themselves. Shipment after shipment of wild sloths delivered to an unheated warehouse in Florida, without even running water, where they all died. And people were charged $19 to watch them suffer.
Nuclear power is so washed at this point lol. It's only marginal if you could turn new reactors on tomorrow, but absolutely washed when considering realistic timelines. Solar and storage has totally undermined its niche
