I love texture in nature. I studied BA(Hons) Textile Design at uni (many moons ago!) and seeing moss and lichen always spikes an urge to pick up a stretch book 🌱🍃🌲🎨🖌️

A client of mine has a shelf displaying some vintage nature and countryside books in her garden room. Being very like-minded, every time I see it I’m inspired and so I decided to start collecting some myself. The very next day I found ‘The Book Of The Countryside’ by F. Martin Duncan & ⬇️ (1/2)

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has to set notifications to remind myself which week is which bin! 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🤯 😂

I love this and quite frankly, wish I had the same talent!! My 81yr old Mum still goes to her weekly art class and produces watercolours. Some weeks she’s a bit sheepish when I ask what she’s done; sometimes I think they mainly drink coffee and eat cake. Why not?! 😂

When you’ve experienced the opposite, you know just how true this is 👌🏻
