A question about the book world; how is a book labelled a ‘bestseller’ before it’s even been released/published?

How beautifully simple. Let’s go back there.

How are they going to learn much at all when they’re supposed to be spending most of their time catching a ball?! 🧐🤓

Wow. Or someone really, really likes dairy milk.

What a lovely day. 18 degrees, 9 dogs, 3 butterflies, 4 hares and lots of daffodils 👌🏻🌞🐶🌼🌱

Two dogs on a footpath between two drilled fields

Two dogs on a footpath between two drilled fields

Morning everyone. Another beautiful day here 🌞 APART from discovering that FB/Meta think I’m interested in the most vile, toxic man on 🌍 and I should follow ‘Elon Musk Daily’. I thought it was an ad. Nope. I won’t swear. Instead, here is my view. Happy hump day !

Narcissism is hard to counter. The lies are so confusing you end up not knowing what the truth is. Thats their MO.
It is devastating and life-changing on a 1-1 basis. This is devastating and life-changing on a global scale.

He’s very atypical! Very chilled, quiet, not mouthy and loves to cuddle 🥰🐶👌🏻

Well, March came in like a lamb (weather wise at least…🙄) and in other news, I got the call about a plot. Soon to be an ‘allotmenter’ again 😁 Off to see it this morning, fingers crossed the size is manageable and it won’t take a year to clear 🙏🏻

I saw it last night and just assumed it was a joke that someone had created for YT. Now it’s reached mainstream media, the realisation of it actually being real has left me cold.

DARVO. Deny, Attack, Reverse Victim and Offender.

If a Narcissist accuses you of something, it’s because they’re doing it.

I love texture in nature. I studied BA(Hons) Textile Design at uni (many moons ago!) and seeing moss and lichen always spikes an urge to pick up a stretch book 🌱🍃🌲🎨🖌️

Are, such a shame she wasn’t able to pursue it. It’s lovely that she can still practise it though :)

Lucy T. Duncan on the ‘Take a book, bring a book’ shelf in our local Waitrose. I’m starting with the Winter chapter, for obvious reasons. It is such lovely, gentle escapism. Like watching a Miss Marple from the 80’s.

A client of mine has a shelf displaying some vintage nature and countryside books in her garden room. Being very like-minded, every time I see it I’m inspired and so I decided to start collecting some myself. The very next day I found ‘The Book Of The Countryside’ by F. Martin Duncan & ⬇️ (1/2)

I’m glad I’m not the only one who has to set notifications to remind myself which week is which bin! 🤷🏻‍♀️ 🤯 😂

I love this and quite frankly, wish I had the same talent!! My 81yr old Mum still goes to her weekly art class and produces watercolours. Some weeks she’s a bit sheepish when I ask what she’s done; sometimes I think they mainly drink coffee and eat cake. Why not?! 😂
