A screenshot from Threads where the initial post is "yuchiwildflower", saying "Watching through ER for the first time and David Krumholtz just appeared, I love him!! Always someone fun showing up in here." This post is quoted by David Krumholtz himself, who just says "Um...", and yuchiwildflower replies "OH MY GOD AND OH MY GOD"

I can only presume the first OH MY GOD is because of Krumholtz quoting her, and the second, well...

I don't think so. I'm not going to identify someone who is not worth mentioning, but I'll say they also made other bad decisions that show a pattern.

Have you watched Girls5Eva? Sara Bareilles is delightful in that.

We talk with @carissabroadbent.bsky.social about building the trees to chase your characters up and the rocks to throw at them.

Plus we brainstorm the MOST EVIL VILLAIN PLAN EVER. Truly, it's diabolical.

I just saw a thing where an author responded to accusations of using AI by saying, "OMG, you think I'm as good as the genius writing of AI?" and, that's really not the way to beat the accusations there, pal.

Oh, I have TWO CASES of broken-down bankers' boxes in the attic. You know, for reasons.

I spent YEARS keeping a bunch of Friendly's French Fry boxes because they were absolutely perfect for carting MMPBs. (And I also had I Might Have To Move Out In A Moment's Notice trauma, so I was always prepared.)

For me it's everyone complaining about policies of Must Read Magazines, and saying things like, "I'm sick of MRM fucking things up for writers."

I mean, I'm in Austin and the one that's close is from a joint called "Texadelphia" which is FINE but has never truly satisfied that nostalgia hole.

Bakc then, one could start wars by simply being a trickster figure and whispering "provolone or whiz" and then slipping away in the ensuing chaos.

I fully believe this is why, when we moved into this house, my wife just stayed up all night one of our first nights here and unpacked ALL THE BOXES and put EVERYTHING IN ITS PLACE. Because anything less would have put her in the forever loop.

It's been a long time since I lived in Pennsylvania, but I was told there was a CORRECT bread for hoagies, cheesesteaks, etc, down to the brand, and anything else was a crime against God.

"But the Republicans are never this ineffective when they aren't in power!"
The Republicans haven't been this out of power since 2010, where the American people then voted Democrats out of office in droves for [checks notes] giving them healthcare.

If you’re not eating pizza on the floor of your newly-moved-into-but-not-yet-settled-into apartment, what are you even doing?

I dunno if prologues and epilogues are part of the main story but I do know your publisher should pay you a separate fee and/or offer a contractually guaranteed budget if they expect you to market your own book because that’s not your job nor what your advance or royalties are for.

If he hadn't, someone else would have eaten it and gotten those powers and that would have been disasterous.

Like, I get that all the cool, prestige shows are not doing that, and that's frustrating, but also they're prestige shows because they're pouring time and money into making eight great episodes every three years. And that's annoying, but you want 22 episodes? Then you gotta watch the normie stuff.

I am on my knees begging y'all to remember that shows like SVU, Chicago Fire, NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, Ghosts, 9-1-1 and such still do exist. They really are making full-season shows still.

I can't believe I'm three years older than Brimley was when he made that movie.

“All authors are using AI now”

Not true! A lot of us use spite!
