Waxing thread makes it less likely to snarl and knot while hand sewing.
Use a teflon sheet to iron the patch on the wrong side of the garment. Use matching thread to zigzag in both directions from right side of garment. Or use straight stitch if zigzag is not available. Hand sewing will work as well.
This is Taco. He is the most relaxed little guy in the world. Mostly because he does not know about emails or the economy, but shoulder rubs help too. 13/10 (IG: tacofoxyhuahua)
I am also the keeper of the household adhesives. Partner explains his use case and I hand him the appropriate adhesive. A few simple rules that have led to us staying married over four decades.
It is also very important to train others in the household to never, ever touch your scissors without permission. It helps to have kitchen shears in the kitchen and some utility scissors in the tool box as well.
Just like Oprah:
You get a MCE (Mass Casualty Event), and you get a MCE, and everyone gets a MCE.
His first term he didn't use terms like "kissing my ass" when he was being recorded. He even used "pussy" instead of the "c-word" when he was indulging in locker room talk that was not being recorded, as far as he knew.
Have you considered trying to thrift a serger and get it working? They can be quite handy for sewing seams on some types of stretch fabric.

Where do housing starts and housing sales fall in here?
I once had a black eye from a 14 lb Jack Russell. I was between where she was and where she wanted to go. You never want to get between a Jack Russel and where she wants to go.
Damn. Now I want a pot stand.

Watch me scramble in real time as I try to find the economic angle on the Musk-Trump tiff.
(I think I found one, and the issues it highlights are terrifyingly important.)

A long, long time ago in a reality far, far away, I worked for the company in question. Two years before it went down in flames, I had a conversation about how sustainable its business model was.

Donald Trump on Truth Social at 6/4/2025 at 2:17 am I like President XI of China, always have, and always will, but he is VERY TOUGH, AND EXTREMELY HARD TO MAKE A DEAL WITH!!!
Waiting for a call from Xi of China?
Steve Bannon was another notable example. Then there was Pence, who was getting too much attention after Trump dumped the administration's COVID response on him. Pence made a decent effort (for a religious nutjob) and got too much favorable attention and Trump took over.
“.. Xi feels empowered to harden his position from Trump’s first term. The arsenal of trade tools China has built .. including export controls of critical materials .. gives it the ability to cause the U.S. real pain.”

“How did you go bankrupt?” Bill asked.
“Two ways,” Mike said. “Gradually and then suddenly.”

I thought they were going to write "pornography." Isn't that the traditional first use case for new technologies.
I hate miller moths with a passion. There was a bad infestation a year or so after we moved to Colorado, and I was like "you meant this happens every year?" 😱
Got to love the reporter for mentioning the cat distribution system in the Denver Post article. Although I live in Colorado, I have never seen a bobcat in the wild. I have seen a mountain lion when they took down an elk cow across the street from our house.
