내 생각에 이재명은 노킹스 시위가 있었기 때문에 트럼프에게 왕관을 선물했을 것 같다. 여론에 민감한 트럼프는 진심으로 좋아했을 것이고, 자기 변덕으로 정치하는 자의 패악질을 달래는 데는 그만한 수가 없었을 것이다.

트럼프를 반대하는 미국인들은 화가 난다고 하지만, 트럼프를 뽑은 건 미국인들이고, 우리는 미국 대통령에 대한 투표권이 없다. 미국이 다른 나라에 하고 싶은 대로 해 온 데 비하면 - 공해상에서 민간 선박을 폭격하는 것은 가벼운 수준이다 - 천 년 전 망한 나라의 왕관을 선물하는 정도는 거론할 축에도 끼지 못한다.
