The Outlaw Album is incredible. ‘Uncle’ is one of the most disturbing stories I’ve ever read. Very sad to hear of his passing.

Such a shame - Harvill of the 90’s introduced me to Saramago, Sebald and countless other writers.

Restraint and Orient Express are fantastic, the latter just winning out between the two. Prompted me to read some of his other novels now….

Happens to me when walking past a specific building on North Strand and also at the corner of D’Olier Street. What are they building in there?

Really saddened with this news. A truly great comic writer with literary flair - a hard combination to achieve.

One customer shouted at me that she had done their own research and proceeded to berate me. All this shortly after my mum had died due to Covid-related illness….

Look at the state of this. It’s great. I don’t know where anything is. And that’s only one of them.
