It's very cool that the IRS's Direct Pay site is totally broken right now. It's actually Great and Awesome.

I've only read one Vance (and it's a lesser talked about one) but I didn't enjoy it.
👏
I need to go back and finish it. I had fun with the first 3 episodes and then stopped for some reason (a new game came out I think).
If there isn't a bar just off of Space Center property somewhere called The Front Porch, what is even the point of all this?
Wow, For All Mankind went hard this week.
Shipping tends to run about the same as the price of the zine. That said, some folks are okay to pay it. I just wouldnt eat any cost on shipping!
A bunch of my newer friends locally at like mid-to-late 20s and they are always surprised to learn I'm as old as I am, lol. Maybe it's something about keeping play at the center of our lives/brains!
Wow - you seem much younger to me (in a good way)! I'm nearing 40 too so you aren't alone there, lol.
As someone with lots of DOTA experience, it's definitely the double-edged sword of these kinds of games where each faction is totally it's own unique loop.
A full Root board with cats and lizards and crows
The Lizard cult subboard with lots of little lizard tokens
Played Root again last night, this time with a full table. Didn't go great honestly. With 5 players and our mix of factions and experience levels, it felt like 3 of us could never spin up, and the one player who could have stopped the other didn't quite know how. Rough!
(fake) Tom Scott video thumbnail featuring 1973's The Wicker Man. "Can this ritual bring their apples back?" I will be blocking anyone who makes an "oh god the bees" reference, that is a different movie not worthy of discussion.
"The Scottish island of Summerisle, home of the best fruit in Britain. The first thing you notice? No churches. The farmers here practice a fascinating form of pre-Christian worship…and I just learned I'll be playing the lead role in their annual May Day festival. First stop: my costume fitting."
Zone stuff has been happening for decades and will continue to happen! The busses very much continue (plus YellowLeaf is Good)!
I enjoyed the first season or so a lot at the time, but I fell off before the end. It was cool to see a sort-of-historical show like that at the time. I really like Travis Fimmel in pretty much everything, but I could see it not aging wonderfully or not keeping your interest long term.
The new VERY hagriographic Michael Jackson biopic starring MJ's nephew is out at the end of the month. But back in 2004 an unauthorised and EQUALLY flattering biopic was made in Canada. Here is a clip and I promise you have NO idea where it's going. I haven't done a single edit here.
I fear I am on the verge of becoming a Marathon sicko.
marathon screenshot showing I exfiltrated and my team died with 8 runner kills across the team, plus 13 combat eliminations, and 4 crew revives
Wow, had an incredible first run on Outpost. Toughest map yet, and I managed to complete my contract to link w/ Sekiguchi, we killed 8 runners, one teammate got got in the fight and DCed (he had to go), the other got UESC'd right after, and I had to take on a guarded exfil alone to get out. Wild!
He loves his work
[The Apollo 11 plaque] reads: "We came in peace for all Mankind." As the United States was dropping 7 ½ megatons of conventional explosives on small nations in Southeast Asia, we congratulated ourselves on our humanity. We would harm no one on a lifeless rock. - Carl Sagan
Beef coconut curry with spinach and cherry tomatoes with rice and naan
Made some tasty curry
I saw a message from your account and was wondering!
Triage in a group, Recon when playing solo/with randoms sometimes.
Finally had a good run again! Yippee!
both can be true
Yea, I agree with this - that's pretty clear (despite the extraction shooter framework of both). So far, I'm having a much harder time parsing how I improve in Marathon compared to my early time with Hunt though, which is maybe the primary cause of my frustration.
Oh, I definitely agree with that. I love how everything sounds, just not so much the gameplay impact of it all - but maybe I just gotta learn.
I may need some friends to join me soon to keep me from hating this game also - despite it's high-impact sauce upfront, the gameplay sauce is.... not hitting for me in the last few hours of play! Either that or let's just all go and play Hunt!
Can't say I understand, so far, why people talk so highly of Marathon's audio design. Compared to Hunt: Showdown, it's a mess. Like there's A LOT of audio, but it's very difficult to parse distance, vertical direction, etc. and I find crews tend to step on top of each other a lot without knowing it.
Here are the specifics if you are interested, but what I posted above is true outside of a few specific cases normally featuring specific NASA staff and logos in a way that conveys endorsement and such. Don't do that, and you're good! www.nasa.gov/nasa-brand-c...
Reminder: NASA photos, audio, etc. are public domain! That awesome moon eclipse photo? Well, that can be your next cover image. The close-ups of the edges of the moon? That can be your next full-spread background.
