Growing up with breasts, being raised as a girl, neck deep in modesty culture, I was taught at a young age to cover up. Even after escaping that mindset, I still had boobs, and society generally frowns upon exposing that part of my body. My brain is hardwired to see being shirtless as shameful, and is still lagging behind the changes my body has gone through.
