Watching the Z-fighting progressively getting worse in the Artemis simulation as they get further from 0,0,0 (Earth). #ArtemisII

I can't get over how great this is
The color choice of the renders is really nice.
This is very pretty looking, I feel the need to run into it.
Hmm. I guess the community page for SteamVR is not in use much, I only got to it as I was linked from Valve's dev wiki. It hasn't seen a new post since 2018 😅 Still contains imagery for the original Steam Controller and Machine. Whelp! steamcommunity.com/steamvr
This is very exciting news!
Very cool, nice work.
Haven't finished this yet but it's really a solid VR game. #TheGameAwards @thegameawards.com thegameawards.com/share/nomine...
The Walkman and lamp combo is really cool and I don’t know why. Nice work!
None of the demos of the Steam Frame had SteamVR Home which is my main jam, I was hoping for some revamp but perhaps they will stop using it all together.
steam frame announcement impressions:
a bit disappointed by the grayscale passthrough, resolution, and soft strap without on-ears. none of those are deal breakers though.
the expansion port with camera mipi and pci-e is very interesting, as is the headstrap modularity.
I was hoping for hand tracking too. Also SteamVR Home was not present at the demos, I hope they don't expire it.
Digital art close-up of a very fluffy pigeon from the top down, in a vague heart shape. It's very pink and lavender, surrounded by tinier bits of fluff and feather.
Digital illustration of a human hand holding a feral pigeon that is grey with dark and lighter spots and a light head. In its beak is a red thread that holds a golden, vintage key. The thread loops around the fingers on the hand.
Digital bust painting of a pigeon's head, with beautiful teal and purple neck feathers and orange eye.
Reposting some pigeon art because I've been working on sewing together a pigeon-themed blanket today.
It’s beautiful.
This is great! I mean, why not have teleporting archs wobble?
I love this.

Games are good, actually
Bigscreen Beyond 2 VR headset held in hand.
Of the VR headsets I’ve owned the Bigscreen Beyond 2 has the worst initial setup of all. The extreme fine tuning required of sub-millimeter IPD changes per lens and the trial & error software settings took me two days.. And yet, for all that, lo I have beheld the most immersive virtual reality ever.

This is great! Really cool!

Screenshot in Blender showing an ocean and many individuals rigging bones in a waving pattern.
The water was inspired by Sea of Thieves (though could never look as good 🌊🥵) and the best way I could find to have large waves in Source 2 was rigging 644 bones... but hey it worked and I am very proud of the result. 😊

I found some WIP images from my High Seas map that I've never posted. (my favorite part is the environment actually simulates boat rocking) a🧵. Workshop Link: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/... #vr #steamvr #steamvrhome

#Oblivion Remastered is beautiful. 😍😍
I had to take the 900 photos I needed for this map during brief clear moments between flurries of snowfall. You can still make out some white dots on the model's textures which is some snow. ❄️📷

I'm very happy with how the photogrammetry turned out and how optimized I was able to get it. I know SteamVR Home environments may be niche in VR now but I hope the people who do try it enjoy it.
