A statement from Melissa: I can't wait to get started as a Co-Chair of the North East Young Greens! It's upsetting to see that the regional Young Greens has been inactive by in large for the last couple years, so I hope to use the limited time that I have within the Young Greens to really kick the regional Young Greens into life, and try and get young people in the region excited to be part of the committee next year. I am hoping to use some of the experience I have in my local party of Gateshead and nationally with committees in the senior party to help in this endeavour. A statement from Darius: I'm very happy to have been re-elected for another term. As some of you may know, I'm very keen to be involved with all your Young Green local election campaigns; and this will continue into my second term.
