I watched Beef Season 2 this week and it was fine. The whole final act is very Beef, but I feel like it loses something when it makes the "beef" less... personal and intimate?

Next week, ranking video games will never be the same! ๐
Mark your calendars for a very special video game podcast!
Class film!
It's just a bit boring so far honestly. Everything has been a flat trope and the localisation is really stiff and awkward.
I've heard the second half does some mechanically interesting things with the combat, so I'm just trudging along atm. It's visually really good, at least?
Really surprised by how little I'm enjoying Fantasian, but I heard it's a game of two halves and I'm holding out for what might be coming.
The new Malcolm in the Middle is quite good. Feels like they stretched a two-parter into something theatrically lengthed then split it into episodes, but it's still the same show at its heart. Would definitely watch a series of this if they continued it.
Invincible has been an okay show and it meanders a lot, but this week's episode was actually incredibly good. There's some fantastic character moments when Nolan has to face consequences, Debbie is such a highlight in the episode, and the end sequence is ridiculously visceral.
Gotta love a short week! I'm terrible at keeping track of Easter, so it's always a lovely surprise
Absolutely buzzing after watching The First Slam Dunk honestly. What an incredibly good movie.
A couple more for the road.
It's still quite a novelty when you come across a place in a game that you've visited in real life. This is the Kasugataisha Shrine in Nara, which I visited back in 2019.
The worlds first inherently misogynist graphics card
The United States is threatening to withhold lifesaving HIV meds for the people of Zambia so that it can coerce the government into handing over its critical minerals.
China offers Zambia a better deal, so instead of competing with China, the US will kill Zambians until they hand it over.
what if we blended every famous woman into one woman and then thats every woman you see now. here at nvidia we
A comic strip titled The Amazing World of Tomorrow. A food delivery robot cooler drives down a sidewalk. It crashes into a rental scooter. It backs up. It crashes into the rental scooter again. The scooter wobbles. The scooter falls to the ground as the food delivery robot backs up again. A driverless taxi crashes into both the scooter and the food delivery robot sending them flying.
The Amazing World of Tomorrow
I don't think there's any non-cruel ways to take a country, but this has to be up there. It's honestly sickening how this tyrant is unravelling the world so fast.
Thanks! It's honestly been a mad time!
Happy birthday!
After four days of travelling back from India; I've stayed in a hotel room the staff refused to give us a key to, been evacuated from a hotel in Dubai during a missile warning, and had three different illnesses going on.
But I'm back in the UK so now I can rest at least lol
(India was great btw)
Huh. I'm curious what the Hokkaido Style adds. I guess they love spicier food more up that way? Interesting.
What was it? It legit did look the tastiest of the bunch too
It looks SO good!
the thing about max landis is you're like "how does hollywood keep producing these serial abusers?" and then you remember his dad killed multiple children and got away with it
So the Telegraph is taking this well
This is a meaningful margin of victory, too. For all the talk of how unpopular Labour has become and how it's a huge blow that they came in third here, it's not like reform are that far ahead of Labour here. Greens are, though. By over 4000.
