As an aside, I seem to be the only FPL manager that's strapped for cash this year. I blame Watkins, Bowen and Minteh; they alone have cost about £1m in price drops for me.

I'm considering doing Pope -> Jose Sa this week or next. Never a fan of GK transfers, but this would free up the funds to do Minteh -> Rogers. The Sa/Dubravka rotation isn't amazing, but neither is Nick Pope...

Arsenal winning tonight means I'm all set for the DGW with triple Ars + Mane.

Option to either roll both FTs, or sell a bench mid for one of Sarr/Ndiaye/Anderson and bench Van Dijk. Roll is probably the smartest play.

GW24: green arrow to 620k OR. I sold Ekitiké to fund Bruno, which was a sensible move imo and should pay off long term.

Tavernier -> Rice

Carrying 1 FT and £1.4m over to next week as I can't afford Rogers in one move and I don't want to commit to any of the sub £7.2m mids right now.

Your team looks in better shape than mine. The mainstream strategy looks to be dead-ending into BGW31 followed by WC in GW32, and I think you'd need a really good reason to go against that

It's a fair suggestion, but I'm not really itching for widescale change, even though the likes of Pope, Van Dijk, Xhaka and Bowen probably don't look great to most people

Foden, Ekitike, Minteh and injured Tavernier all probably need to go. Bruno definitely coming in, the other spots are up in the air at the mo.

But in another sense, they create templates because people are incentivised to buy players before their price skyrockets (Bruno, Gabriel) and sell players before they drop. If I want to hold a player through multiple blanks, those blanks are punishment enough without also tanking TV

Bruno Fernandes going up in price before he’s played is a good example of why the price change system makes no sense. Why should patient FPL players face a disadvantage over people who choose to move fast?
