I had forgotten about the abandoned musical version of The Skin of Our Teeth. Leonard Bernstein was to compose the music and Betty Comden and Adolph Green the lyrics. This material would later be used for the Chichester Psalms.

Growing up in the 80s, I wasn’t a big Dokken fan, but my older brother and his friends swore by them. The Monsters of Rock tour they did with Scorpion, Kingdom Come, and Van Halen (among others) was a big deal. Anyway, thanks for the nice memory!

Blanche was also preemptively nominated to be the Librarian of Congress to replace the beloved Dr. Carla Hayden (after she was fired by POTUS without cause), but this was stopped because the LOC already had a succession plan. Also, LOC falls under the Legislative Branch.
