Yeah, I’m diggin’ it! Not finished yet, so I reserve the right to change my mind, but so far it’s well-written, nicely unnerving, and (crucially) isn’t trying to be anything it isn’t.

Not to be a guy who posts about a TV show, but I’m enjoying Something Very Bad Is Going To Happen. It’s got a bit of shared DNA with stuff like Beau Is Afraid and I’m Thinking Of Ending Things.

The song reached a section with an Irish fiddle solo.

The Singing Lady reacted as if liquid dog-shit had just been squirted into her ears.

“Violins?? Oh NO, I don’t think so.”

She stormed out without buying anything. A contemplative calm fell over the shop.

I was browsing in a book shop today. The staff were listening to quiet music. It was a chill environment. Nice vibe.

A customer started singing along to the music at full concert volume. REALLY belting it out, like she was at the opera (as opposed to, you know, a tiny independent book shop).

I am EXTREMELY pumped for this one!
