You adjust the straps like you would adjust the strap on a back pack, or a pets collar. You slide the adjuster to make it longer or shorter.
Honestly, the best way to make it fit it is put it on and adjust it until it looks and feels right :)

I really feel for you! That would be hard to navigate, but it's good to hear you at least found what a trigger is for your eczema. Its not an easy thing to do!
In my case it's respiratory, and was definitely staring me in the face, so finding it was the easy part. Moving on from crafting is hard.
