The contrast between featureless frames vs closer shots with details in Shiboyugi is so interesting. Simultaneously the show feels like a weird fever dream while the faceless distance also nods to the fact that they're all being watched on (and sometimes die for) a reality TV show.

i've found whether i'm doing monochrome or full color i still spend like 12+ hours on a piece, but i focus way more on line quality with monochrome and find rendering way faster!
