Where the new missile fits in the size spectrum of existing options. Note that it has the exact same 300kt terminal stage as the anti-ship missile directly below it.

Wasn't happy with the mid-sized anti-ship missile. It felt like a half-measure, with few real use cases.
Have now made a new system to fill a niche: Exchanged the nuclear thermal rocket first stage for an ion one, incorporating radiators and external propellant tanks, with a square profile.

Current spread of cannons; 5.7cm, 12.7cm, 15.5cm and an as-yet unused 25cm piece.

The old 12.7cm and 15.5cm mounts, which were literally the same thing, but one was two pixels thicker on the barrel. Not compelling.

The new designs, with the 12.7 having a centre-hinged mount and smaller turret housing, while the 15.5 has a cleft rear-hinged turret that flares larger towards the rear. Both have visible radiators for head management.

The current 15.5cm gun, next to an early sketch of a large, capital-grade 25cm mount. It would probably feature on a heavy cruiser as the primary armament. May be the largest gun I'd bother mounting in a turret.

It's been a slow day. More chipping away at component designs;
Re-did the art for the 127mm and 155mm railguns. They felt too 'flimsy' or bare-bones, so I beefed them up a little, added coincidence rangefinders by doubling the EO/IRST targeting balls.
Also trying out a larger design concept.

I feel like Nearl really shouldn't be 5'7, but then again she is a gacha game char. I wish they would depict Nearl and Mudrock accurately. They can block three trained combatants at once. They should be built like a truck. Buff women are pretty, too.
