The U.S. Dept of Ed has proposed a change to its definition of "professional degrees" that would exclude many healthcare,etc, professions, limiting student loan access. This is a reclassification of the definition used for fed loan purposes, not a removal of the professions' overall prof status.

Dept. of Ed is reclassifying all the female dominated professions (nurse, therapist, speech pathologist, PA) as not having “professional” degrees, which makes it harder for them to get educational loans.

Another FUCKED UP thing this admin is doing to attack women’s power.
