I’m still waiting for Canada’s decision on whether to purchase all the ones they originally planned to, or buy part of that and the rest, Gripens. Me being a huge Gripen fan, I hope for the latter! Rather than be so hooked to US, Gripen can be built in Canada, flown by Canada, and sold by Canada.

I also heard lately that the stealth coating begins to crack and delaminate. It usually happens in cold conditions and (don’t know if true) depends to an extent on how many takeoff/landing sequences it goes through.
