Following a swing around the far side of the Moon on April 6, 2026, the crew exited the lunar sphere of influence (the point at which the Moon's gravity has a stronger pull on Orion than the Earth's) on April 7, and are headed back to Earth for a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean on April 10. The crew was selected in April 2023, and have been training together for their mission for the past three years.

#Artemis II - The crew of Orion and the Artemis II mission have been an absolute joy to watch over these past nearly 8 days

This has to be one of our favourite images of the crew released by NASA

Oh yeah, the T Line Shuttle is comedically bad

it's a local private bus company cosplaying as transit, and they never trained drivers on the route

Why the hell did Dreamwork's Home be the one kids movie from over a decade ago that occasionally resurfaces but deserves to be utterly forgotten about.

It's not like, say, Frozen. It's fucking Dreamwork's Home

Eyewitness video from the scene of today's ICE shooting in California appears to (you guessed it) contradict officials' claims that the man "weaponized" his vehicle. The car is reversing and the agents appear to be well clear of it.

The commute between where I live and work is rather long because it's in the northern seattle suburbs, and I have not amazing confidence in my local transit down here weathering the next 5 years in a way that would not significantly impact its riders.

Okay I'm a a point where moving north into king county is literally my most logical option huh

I would love it if my local bus agency did not shit the bed last minute by pulling put of the agreement to operate rail-replacement busses when said rail is under maintenance

the uptick in people using "LGBT" or "LGBTQ+" as a standalone noun really weirds me out, ngl

things like "I support LGBTQ+" or "laws that forbid promoting LGBT" read badly and they also omit the people that support or oppression affect

it just Feels Bad
