New Generics work. Yesterday was so much better than Tuesday. Today’s less dramatic but still clear night and day difference.

Oh, wow. So many other worlds visible in the background of the Artemis II view from eclipse, peeking out of the haze of the solar corona. Thanks @tunctezel.bsky.social for labeling!

Democrats needs to be heading to DC tonight and gather in Congress to move for impeachment even if Congress led by Republican bootlickers is “on recess.”

Schumer/Jeffries should be issuing calls for Dems to get back in DC now while have their leadership staffers prep impeachment resolutions now.

I do not feel comfortable driving today, thankfully its the last day i have to deal with them. I submitted a report to the FDA, bc this is insane.

there's gotta be a twilight zone episode or two about astronauts learning that there's been a nuclear war while they're in space

I don't know if we can stop the terrible things that are happening.

But I do know that we can commit ourselves as individuals and communities and societies to seek justice for as long as it takes.

I simply can’t believe Congress and the cabinet are sitting around, totally fine with what is absolutely demented behavior from the president.

It’s 6:40 EDT and almost 60k people are watching the Artemis II live feed — which is showing previously recorded footage.

The Artemis astronauts are currently in their asleep period, I’m assuming until at least 8 AM EDT. They are supposed to be scheduled for a full 8 hours of sleep, and they were still awake at midnight.

I think what’s drawing so many people to Artemis II isn’t just the science. It’s the beauty, the poetry, the art, the interconnectedness.

Humanities matter.

The brightly lit Orion spacecraft on the left agains the darkness of space, next to it a thin crescent moon and an equally thin crescent earth.

my parents on the moon launch

mom: why are they going to the moon

dad: same reason we go to your brother in Australia- some people like going very far away to a place where you die if you go outside

This livestream is amazing. Science team on ground just asked the Artemis II about something they were seeing re: Grimaldi’s shadows & the response from the crew member onboard was I don’t know, & “I don’t want to bother the window team rn.”

The Window Team. Aka the two crew looking out the window😅
