illustration by Laur-rants. Two deinonychus, typical 'raptor' type dinosaurs, loom over their nest, which holds two offspring. The mother is feeding small meat chunks to the babies, as they cannot rip apart meat themselves. The meat is wet with saliva, which is full of antibiotics and probiotics the babies need to grow and digest properly. The other adult looks around for danger, making sure their offspring are safe, much like modern day birds of prey do today.

After successfully ambushing a young tenontosaurus, one adult Deinonychus brings the prize back to her nest to relieve her mate and feed her new offspring. Then, she will brood them, until they are large enough to thermoregulate on their own. #dinocember Day 18 is Deinonychus! #paleoart 🐕

An anthropomorphic American alligator that very much looks like a gator decided to stand up on its hind legs. It is a dusty blue with lighter gray-blue and taupe scales/scutes scattered all around on its scaly hide. A detail of its orange and blue eye and color palette, as well as a "pelt" view to show back markings is also present.

A werebeast design based on an American Alligator, a species near and dear to my heart!
