🤯 JUST realized how much this series shaped my idea of devotion and love. Jocelyn is a why a male protag acting against loved ones’ priorities “for their own good” to protect himself from discomfort or loss pisses me off.
…same for moments I’ve failed that test myself.

It feels weird that my absent father spent years playing EverQuest while I unconnectedly spent years playing WoW - when nobody else in my family did video games on their own then. It’s such a silly thing but one of many small reasons I’ve really, really enjoyed getting the chance to know him now.
Watched Book of Eli! Really neat use of color and sound and light and darkness. Fantastic end to the day. 💜
