‘Our time has come:’ Panthers to host 2026 Winter Classic as NHL celebrates state of Florida The Panthers and Tampa Bay Lighting will each host outdoor games about a month apart from each other.

It's official: Florida Panthers Winter Classic Jan 2 vs NY Rangers at loanDepot park, Tampa Bay Lightning Stadium Series vs Bruins Feb 1.

The NHL is pegging it as a month-long celebration of hockey in Florida.

"Our time has come," Matt Caldwell said.
