Been unwell for about 5 days. Allergic pharyngitis. The usual shit fest because of the rising levels of pollution in my city… things aren’t going to be getting better, are they?

Being gay taught me pride. Standing with the trans community taught me courage. We’re one family, one fight, one rainbow — and I’ll never leave them behind.

Plus, video calls are a judgement jungle—can’t avoid them. Also, with a video call, I’m expected to stay in the conversation even when it flatlines. But with texts? I can graciously vanish mid-chat, do my thing, and return like nothing happened. Bliss.

Some one asked me why I prefer texts over calls. Here’s why:

Well. I’m more of a texter. I prefer that—and Snapchat pics and videos. Or short videos, because video calls demand an actual conversation. And let’s face it, most of the time, it’s a monologue. I get bored fast.

Once I’ve loved someone, I can’t unlove them. I may drift away, be hurt, or forget the intensity with time—but love, once formed, lingers. The ache remains, quiet but constant. Love doesn’t end; it simply learns to survive in silence. Alone, if need be.

Why is being open-minded such a problem for most people? It’s rhetorical question of course, putting it out there to serve my angst. Maybe I should be open-minded and allow the narrow-minded their space - as long as they don’t begin tampering with mine. 😖

My furkid is unwell. My depression won’t quit. My anxiety is threatening to explode. Not a good start to the week.
