I cannot even begin to tell you.
How fast you will move to the top of my ballot.
If you publicly antagonize AI.

That's wretched. I'm so sorry!
This is an especially acute issue I see daily while teaching undergraduates If you're brand new to the subject matter—which we all are at some point!—you're even less likely to recognize the inaccuracies, the badness/dullness of the prose, or the limits of the response.
This is tonight! Join us in-person at Bishop Library or via Zoom from anywhere!

I've gotta say that the idea of "emission intensive software" is such a travesty to me
There is a Hookland dialect word – woldclip –which means to be summoned by the woods, to ache so much for wildness that you almost need to run towards its entanglement. I've been told that this portion of spring is known as a 'woldclip week'. – #MattAdams, 1982

I don't care if this makes me a dinosaur. If I found out that a writer had used a solitary line of AI I would never read them again. If I thought someone had used AI in an email to me, I would never respond or indeed respect them again.
I keep seeing "all authors use AI, the real issue is they're being forced to be sneaky about it" headlines.
Full stop No. This is a lie peddled for normalization. It's schoolyard-level pressure tactics "C'mon, all the cool kids are already doing it. We won't tell. It's fine. We're on your side."
