The Tree Peony clearly didn’t get the memo that it’s only April. It’s out here looking majestic and fully bloomed like it’s mid-June, while the Wisteria is just starting to make its grand entrance. The Lily of the Valley is almost in full bloom and currently smelling beautiful.

Loved being in Shane & Ilya’s heads - so much more emotional depth than the show, even if it’s super faithful. First half dragged a bit, second half delivered. Still think I preferred book one, but this kept me fully in my hockey romance era 🏒

Ralph is only 6.5kg, but he can struggle (and remove a muzzle deftly too!). He is blind in one eye after being attacked by a cat, since then he doesn’t like anyone going near his head, and especially not a vet. Well done to your son for restraining yours, despite the fall!

Betrayal: this evening's Walkies led to the vets instead of the park. Annual jabs done, Ralph is currently 'recovering' from the trauma by ignoring me entirely. I'm sure at this point he's 10% vaccine and 90% pure, unadulterated rage. Send virtual boops. 🐾💉😒
