I had this happen to me with a friend group regarding my housing. Come to find out in court that all the things they listed were actually situational and the fault of my abusive landlord.

I had this done to me by a close friend. Don’t do this. Communication is so important in any form of relationship with someone. You leave that person with nothing but sadness and guilt for something they don’t even remember doing, and sometimes didn’t even do. Grow your relationships by speaking up.

If the fear is that they will hate you afterwards by telling them they hurt you, is it really a friendship to hold onto? I’ve had a lot of hard conversations with people I love the most, and it’s worth it. You really find your people when you use your voice. Never be scared to communicate!
