In the worst days of my depression, worst days of chronic illness, I constantly have to fight the idea that I'm a "burden".
It's evil to label anyone as a burden. We need to talk about quality of life for the individual not how much money a human life is worth.

Can we please not use the word "burden" when talking about end of life care. Yikes.

I wouldn't be back into comics if not for advice like this, so do it. You can't get better if you don't start

Unfortunately it's not just about making the thing and then getting the thing into shops - the biggest successes I can think of are made through clever promotion and nurturing a readership. All that takes the quality and selling points as a given though!

I don't think this is limited to comics - all publishing is like this. Current mainstream bookstores are not efficient for browsing or selling individual books, they're optimized for making money (and even then, in this economy?? Not doing great at that either)

My brain is scrambled at the best of times, no way I can work this out - guess the answer is just... Not selling to EU? 💀
