When joining a team or moving to a new game, its critical you to explore and immerse yourself in the history, the intentions, and the core direction of the creatives that came before you.

Respect the history and enjoy being part of a living piece of art.

Open worlds should not rely on chance encounters with wandering enemies. You should leverage player driven events that use player stats, state, and location.

Trigger the right encounters at the right time.
Better Pacing, Better Combat, a dynamic and alive feeling world your players will love.

Because we were willing to tack back to the centre rather than allowing the far right to gain control. Its the Canadian way.

Governments across Canada are calling for the use of the Not Withstanding Clause in an effort to normalize the conversation. To make it less meaningful or shocking when its invoked. They've had a taste of veto power and legal immunity and they like it. Its our job to not let them make it normal.

Live service games need to try more satire as part of their content rotation. There seems to be some opportunity and artistic expression of resistance and belief in those moments.
It could be a news paper or poster in the world, a radio host or song playing in the background, or something blunt.

If you want to make games or just be creative. Then do it.
Not everything needs to revolve around the job market. Dont wait for the golden opportunity. If you have the itch to create, then do it. We will all be here cheering you on!

Ethics in creation is mandatory with a live service game. You cannot rug pull, bait and switch, or mislead your players. They will never trust your brand or your game again. Effectively killing your game.

Enforce your ethics on every choice and design you make.

When the government tells the young working class more sacrifices are coming after the wealthiest generation ever has hedged the housing market in their favour, monopolies controlling our services, and the 1% amassing a trillion dollars while "right sizing".
But hey working class, foot the bill.

sure thing robot.
Humans arent very creative when they cant feed their families because they've been "displaced", or fired as real people would say.

If you increase productivity but fire the artists, who benefits? not the artists or the workers.

6 months ago 1 0 0 0

Its not about productivity, its about the technology cutting the single biggest expense a business has...the workers.

Hunger, healthcare, education, and many other social systems would be fully funded if we put people before imaginary numbers.

When you can, If you can, then you should.

6 months ago 2 0 0 0

Sure, AI could make things more productive.

That doesnt mean you need to cut your work force. It means those workers could increase their output and reduce the hours you need them to work everyday.

If you could improve your workers QOL and you choose not to, is that a moral failing?

Half Joking:
Hitler became who he was because no one would buy his shitty post-cards and he didnt get into art school.

Do you really want AI to be taking peoples jobs?
