It's alright. It's harder to properly separate RP from regular posting on here than it is on other sites because of how the tagging system works.

Not every fan of a work wants to engage with RP or in-character accounts, I promise it's nothing personal.

Because I don't want to see RP accounts on my feed on this account. I'm an RP writer elsewhere, but that isn't what I want to engage with here. That's my choice to make and I feel uncomfortable about being singled out for tailoring my feed to my preferences.

I think the use of the term problematic waters down how people engage with media and instead you should actually be naming the specific issues you have with things.

Ageism is definitely an element, but the fandom also often also softens younger Daniel down to this strange soft helpless version of him that is far from the character we see in canon.

A lot of it comes from fandom just refusing to acknowledge challenging themes.

If I see someone woobifying my comfort characters I have to look the other way, especially if I relate on a personal level to the characters flaws.
