Allah simply means God in Arabic. It is used by Arab Christians as well (at least in a non-liturgical context).

Not completely true. In Australia, both New South Wales and Victoria recently had protest restrictions in certain areas; while in Queensland it is now a criminal offence to say a certain pro-Palestinian slogan.

This is despite deteriorating global political situations. Maybe Sydney is still reeling from the recent draconian anti-protest law.
